THE BACK STORY
Hannah Betts, originally from the U.K., took an unconventional path from the very beginning. At 18, she moved to Honduras to volunteer as an English teacher for a year, then spent the following year travelling and working across Australia. It was during this time that her love for people, challenge, and stepping into the unfamiliar truly took root.
She returned to the U.K. to earn a Higher National Diploma in Outdoor Education, a dynamic blend of sports psychology and adventure-based instruction.
She became a course leader with The King’s Trust, a national charity that works with at-risk youth from inner-city communities, guiding them into the outdoors to experience adventure, connection, and emotional strength. It was there that something clicked for her: helping people lean into fear wasn’t just part of the work; it was the work. Those quiet, courageous moments became the ones that mattered most, showing how much more freedom lies on the other side of discomfort.

Hannah later joined the Police Force in Birmingham, the U.K.’s second-largest city, where she served for over five years, eventually specializing in domestic violence liaison work. It was during her time on the force that she discovered skydiving, a sport that would transform her life. She quickly rose through the ranks, joining the British Skydiving Team at an unprecedented pace and winning gold at the 2008 World Championships.
After relocating to California to pursue skydiving full-time, Hannah went on to represent Team USA at an international level, serve as an instructor on military freefall courses for Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, and international Special Forces, and take part in the still-standing world record “Jump for the Cause” - linking 181 women in freefall. She's landed her parachute on Vegas Blvd, The Palm Jumeriah, and Petco Park Stadium, to name a few.

Hannah’s skydiving career opened the door to the world of stunts, and for the past decade she has worked full-time as a Hollywood Stuntwoman, with over 120 film and television credits to her name and as a two-time Taurus World Stunt Award winner (2024). She also serves as a board member for the prestigious Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures, advocating for women at the highest levels of action performance in film and television. In between channelling her experience into helping others navigate the emotional terrain of fear, self-doubt, and personal growth, she spends her 'spare time' taking care of her rescue animals - two horses, two donkeys, two cats, and a dog, who all live on her small ranch outside of Los Angeles.
